Kurihetū

A Kurihetū is an evil predator that delights in hunting and devouring creatures weaker than itself. Cunning and malevolent, kurihetūs roam across the Wildlands or are raised by Gobles and Goble-urs. Those creatures use kurihetūs as mounts, but a kurihetū will turn on its rider if it feels mistreated or malnourished.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A kurihetū resembles a typical Kuri, though much larger and bearing an intelligent, wicked gleam in its eyes. They have gray or black fur, and on average stood 0.91‑meter high and are 1.5‑meter long. They weight around 140 kg.

Behaviour

Despite their higher intelligence and evil traits, kurihetūs tend to act, for the most part, like regular kuris. They often hunt in packs, but are sometimes solitary creatures. Lone kurihetūs tend to hunt smaller animals, while mated pairs and packs hunt larger game. They prefer large, herbivorous animals, usually the young, sick, or weak, but aren't afraid to take humanoids, especially when other food sources are exhausted.
