Kaimate

Anatomy
A kaimate appears as an emaciated, roughly humanoid creature with an almost-hairless mottled, decaying hide stretched tight over its bones. It has the sharp teeth of a carnivore, long and pointy claws on hands and feet and white dead eyes.
Genetics and Reproduction
Any who dies from the kaimate fever rises as one of them at midnight. Some legends says that eating a corpse has a chance to transform you into a kaimate, though there are no proofs that this ever happened.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Kaimates could paralyze their victims with a claw or bite wound. Paralysis lasts at least a dozen seconds and up to half a minute.Like most types of undead, they are immune to mind affecting spells, such as sleep.
The bite of a kaimate also inflicts a terrible disease, kaimate fever, deteriorating health and agility within a day.
