The Teeth
The houses become more rickety, the docks long and sprawling like a set of horrid teeth growing from the city shores. Houses are packed like sardines, a dozen in a row with only a paper thin wall to separate them. The most industrious people buy out an entire row of homes, knock down the innermost walls and turn them into large boarding houses with both long term stay and nightly rates offered. Families of warehouse and factory workers live alongside the occasional sailor or adventurer who spends the night. Servants to noble families that don't have the space for them to live sleep here, but life is still better than living in The Boil or Beggars Fort
History
The Teeth was set to receive renovations and assets to build new docks and homes, but the winter plague struck during negotiations and dealings with the Magisterium. Since then they have not been able to secure the funding, and most anybody running for Magister here makes receiving the money once promised their main priority.
