Merchants Cross
This district is where many merchants, adventurers, and minor nobles live. Dotted with higher quality shops, markets, theaters, and businesses of every kind. Docks that line up the river with more expensive and comfortable options for gondolas, ferries, and carriages are run by larger companies. Nearly anything you can imagine can be bought here, and these shops usually get first pick of the goods that flow into Knotside via the river or traveling parties.
Assets
Once goods are unloaded from the ships in New Harbour they are sent throughout the district where merchants and cart owners can haggle and barter for the goods as they head towards caravans. A crew member of the ship typically accompanies the crates of goods and hocks the wares at the open air markets here, or will go to who has the best deals and contracts with their shipping company first. For the nobility and the rich who live in Castle Hill and Noble Road will come down to shop here and spend their money only in the event something they want is not available for purchase in their own districts.
