History
The title first emerged in the late-Galactic War under Octavius Athomath’s classified initiative
John Gavanish, father of Allena Gavanish, has held the title through the U.R.C.'s transformation from private military force to Empire-recognized institution
The defection of Gavanish and several fleets in opposition to the Empire’s founding caused the term “Supreme Commander” to become controversial in imperial rhetoric—but the title itself remains officially recognized
Post-defection, the title’s legitimacy splits: one line loyal to Azure Command, the other claimed by the U.R.C. Remnant faction
