Theta Yaros System

A star system that is located very close to the Tralakas System, which is the home system of the Zikrat Scientific Citizenry. TL-537 galaxy.

The Theta Yaros star is a spectral class F star with no habitable planets. This did not prove to be a problem for the robotic Zikrat though, who did not require an atmosphere to operate. As such, their expansion through the Theta Yaros system was quite rapid and they quickly managed to establish mines on virtually every planet of the system. 

Due to its proximity with the homeworld, the zikrat found it slightly easier to warp into Theta Yaros than to other nearby systems. Theta Yaros is the closest star system to Tralakas, so colonisers slightly favored settling in this system because it as slightly cheaper (the extra distance cost would have quickly added up with the number of times they had to warp) so Theta Yaros started with an advantage ahead of the other nearby star systems from the start. Now the Theta Yaros - Tralakas warp route is one of the most used routes within ZSC territory, seeing tens of thousands of ships passing through it every day, though modern warp drives can have much longer ranges more easily and as such this route is often skipped while warping from very far star systems.

The Theta Yaros system contains a number of very hot planets because of the fairly luminous, F-class parent star. 

Theta Yaros I - a lava planet with a very close orbit and thin atmosphere which reflects most heat it receives
Theta Yaros II - a mostly lava planet with a set of poles that resemble those of a barren planet
Theta Yaros III - a barren planet with a hot atmosphere and a strong magnetosphere
Theta Yaros IV - green small gas giant with 2 small rings
Theta Yaros V - grey large gas giant with no rings but many moons
Theta Yaros VI - cold barren planet
Theta Yaros VII - ice giant planet which also has a significant number of moons
Theta Yaros VIII - ice planet
Theta Yaros IX - ice planet
