Tralakas System

The home system of the Zikrat species.  The system is present within the TL-537 galaxy.

The star is a main sequence, F class star. The system has a number of planets and a large number of defence and research stations.

Tralakas I - gas giant that lost much of its atmosphere due to heat, now is mostly a dense core

Tralakas II - toxic planet with a dense atmosphere that retains a lot of heat from the sun, very hot

Rarebb - habitable aquatic planet

Tralakas IV - terraformed planet that is not yet densely populated

Tralakas V - gas giant harvested for fuel

The Tralakas system also has an asteroid belt between Tralakas II and Rarebb. The ZSC has set up mines on all these asteroids and planets, though Rarebb remains the most exploited planet in the system. The ZSC also have a number of star lifting stations in close orbit of their home star which allows them to easily obtain metal with little energy requirement to refine it (the metal is already very hot). It is also often casted into various shapes in 0g or in large centrifugal gravity rings (similar to a ring world). 

After the HF - ZSC first contact, the former was invited to the Tralakas system as a gesture of goodwill. The HF told the ZSC a lot about their various planets in return.
