Theta Yaros V

Theta Yaros V is a large, grey gas giant known for its 2 small but distinct rings, a rare occurrence. Theta Yaros System.

The rings take up 2 entirely separate orbital planes around the planet. Despite the resources that the Zikrat Scientific Citizenry could obtain from mining the rings, they do not because they have a high scientific value and are regarded as an excellent sight that tourists sometimes also come to visit. 

However, the planets moons are mined instead. The planet has a large number of moons which are roughly planet sized, allowing the ZSC to extract a very large amount of resources theoretically. The mines in the Theta Yaros system are quite well established due to the relative age of the system, being one of the first star systems colonised after the ZSC left their home system for the first time, as robots.

As such, the planet itself is instead exploited, as are its moons. Due to the variety of environments, a variety of materials could be extracted and the ZSC are not yet a post scarcity society.
