Theta Yaros IV
A relatively small gas giant planet of the Theta Yaros System.
Theta Yaros IV is best known for its 2 small rings and green colour, making it stand out from other gas giants and planets in the system despite its fairly small size.
Though its small size means that it can be difficult to extract a huge amount of material, but the lower gravity can make it comparatively safer. With lower orbital velocities, there is more time to correct courses to avoid collisions, a lesson the Zikrat Scientific Citizenry had to learn the hard way, particularly on Theta Yaros V. They also use materials found within the asteroid belts as well, but the belts are quite small so the yield is fairly low on a huge scale.
Its green colour comes from the higher concentration of deuterium molecules in the gas giant itself. Through some unknown cosmic event, the planet has received some heavier deuterium molecules from the star, which were part of the way through the proton-proton chain fusion process which fuses hydrogen into helium.
The planet also has a large storm in one particular location on the planet. Before a station orbits over this storm, they will often either retract the extraction cable or use the storm to improve yields. Usually the former happens, because only some specific stations are designed to use the storm to increase the pressure on the cable and improve yield.
