The Heleopolis

Located in Hades, it is an enormous structure of unknown material that appears like opaque and matte black glass, but is impossible to scratch or break, the Helepolis is a smooth trapezoidal building the size of a city block.   When the Hephaestus printer was first activated and began building the Inner Octants, it first built the Helepolis as its mouth. Enormous amounts of raw materials - rock, wood, ore, dirt, metal, plastic - were consumed and stored by the colossal LOStech machine to be recycled into the core buildings of the inner octants.   Today, with Hephaestus no longer producing buildings for Olympia, the Helepolis's main function is dormant. It still recycles raw materials and waste into usable ingredients for the Hephaestus Octant to use, but it no longer requires material at the sheer scale as it did before.   The bottom floor of the Helepolis is dedicated to large "derez" chambers. The chambers are perfectly square and have the same perfect black glass on each side. Raw materials go in, the door is closed, and anything inside vanishes instantly. Attempts have been made to determine how these chambers work, but the mysteries of the Ancients have eluded researchers.   The upper floors of the Helepolis aren't accessible, and are suspected to only contain storage and the LOStech machine itself.
