Moros

Outside of Hades’ beautiful public spaces and bewitching Victorian-style neighborhoods is the sprawl that is Moros. Much of Moros exists in underground tunnels as old as the city itself, or perhaps older. The parts that do exist aboveground exist as a shantytown. Moros is a place where the desperate, the down on their luck, the criminals, the outcasts, and those hoping to not be found can eke out a life, meet a sudden death, or carry out their plans.   Cults who don’t want the judgmental eyes of nonbelievers on their practices, drug manufacturers who distill the mold from the tunnels into a highly addictive substance, hypnos, that give users visions of the future while slowly driving them insane, recruiters for organized crime, and people in hiding from the authorities or others can all be found here – along with the desperately poor.
