2025 - Something's Fishy...
Intentions
Past Summer Camps taught me I don't like applying prompts to ongoing projects. The prompts either don't fit what I want to write, overlap with what I've already written, or result in articles I don't want to keep. After my struggles last year, I came up with a solution: Next time, I'd create a new World that starts and ends with Summer Camp.
With no prior articles, no future goals, and no big intentions, I can let the tides of inspiration direct me. This doesn't necessarily mean I won't write anything for wow that's a lot of stars . If any prompts particularly suit something there, then that's what I'll go write. The point is to have fun and follow my excitement.
The Rules
A second lesson I've learned is that inspiration comes easier if I go into July with no expectations or plans for how to handle each theme. As such, my prep this month will be minimal. I'll figure out details about the new setting once I start writing articles. However, going into a new world with no direction is a recipe for decision paralysis, so I've given myself two restrictions:
All worldbuilding must respond to a prompt.
This World will only be active during Summer Camp, and 40 prompts is plenty to work with over five weeks.
I can only use tools available to free users.
No CSS, no containers, no themes. This Summer Camp, I'm going back to basics and focusing only on the writing.
