Drakkens Port

Summary

Drakkens Port is a fortified port city located on the eastern coast of The Empire of Mori, nestled between the towering cliffs of the Draken Hills and the vast expanse of the Eastern Ocean. The city serves as a critical military hub, linking the heart of the Empire to the far-flung corners of the world through its strategic position along the coast.

It has a large training facility and barracks complex for the both the Imperial Army and the Navy. The dockyards are filled with warships, both the older wooden sailing ships and the newly built Ironclads. Repairs and construction are always ongoing in the busy harbor of the city and it's large automated cranes can be seen loading supplies and ammunition into the ships at dock.

Districts

1. The Governors District - a district in the heart of the city with the large Governors Residence dominating its skyline. Surrounded by the opulent buildings belonging to the officers of the Navy and the Army. There are administrative buildings in use by the military for recording soldiers, pay, supplies and logistics.
2. The Navy's District - the administrative buildings and the headquarters of the Eastern Navy Command is here.
3. The Army's District - the twin to the Navy's District with its own administration buildings.
4. The Barracks - a large district with bunkhouses for the soldiers and sailors staying in the city. The lower officers stay in comfortable houses or the wealthier in the Governors District.
5. The Blissful Boulevard - a district dedicated to offering vices to the stationed soldiers such as taverns, bars, gambling houses, brothels, theatres and opera houses. There is even a brand new large casino built onto one of the old piers.

Society

It's primarily a military city with a large population of soldiers and sailors living in the city. There's a small number of administrators and command support staff as well as the entertainers, washerwomen, peddlers and various servants that cater to the soldiers. With

The governor and the lead administrators are the upper class of the city. Recently some of the bosses of the Blissful Boulevard have amassed great wealth especially the owner of the new Casino.
