Mori - The Imperial District

The Imperial District of Mori is the heart of the Empire, a monumental and meticulously organized area within the capital city that serves as the political, cultural, and administrative hub of Mori and, by extension, the Empire of Mori. This district is home to grand government structures, temples, academies, and the command staff of the military, all tightly regulated and closely watched by the Empire's officials.

Important Buildings

1. The Imperial Palace - a grand structure of the finest marble, brass and steel with gold engravings. Splendid statues and sculptures adorn the outside of the structure. Inside are high vaulted ceilings and opulent halls. The personal chambers of the Imperial Clan are located in the heart of the palace and strictly off-limits to outsiders. It's an architectural marvel, with vast chambers, lavish halls, and statues dedicated to past emperors and the primal forces of the Moriander faith.
2. The Grand Hall of the Clans - The center of legislative power in the Empire, this massive building is where the representatives of the various clans gather. The hall is adorned with banners and emblems of the clans, and the floor is divided into segments representing the regions of the Empire. This hall is both an administrative office and a forum for important debates, policy making, and ceremonial events.
3. The Imperial Archives - Located beneath the Council Hall, the Archives house the historical records of the Empire. Ancient treaties, documents from past emperors, and even secret dossiers on rival clans and factions are stored here. The Archives are heavily guarded and restricted to only the highest-ranking officials, though scholars and political rivals may seek information within its hallowed halls.
4. The Mori Constabulary - the headquarters of the police force of Mori and the Imperial police force that travels throughout world where there is no prescense of the law.
5. The Black and Gold Fortress - the headquarters of the General Staff of the Imperial Military overseeing the army, navy and special forces. From here they coordinate all the military campaigns in the Empires best interest as well as organise logistics and keep track of the expenses.
