Important Buildings and Locations
- The Institute of Technological Innovation - the great halls of the knowledge dedicated to the advancement of science and explorations. Home to intrepid explorers and scientists trying to push the boundaries of ingenuity. It has libraries dedicated to preserving old knowledge and scientific works. In the many workshops the latest inventions can be found and there is always someone working on a new project.
- The Grand University - the centerpiece of the district, the Grand University is the most prestigious academic institution in the Empire. Its sprawling campus includes lecture halls, experimental laboratories, alchemical workshops, and mechanical engineering foundries. Professors and scholars debate in cloistered courtyards, while students scurry across marble bridges between towers of knowledge. Courses range from advanced engineering and clockwork design to state-sanctioned magical studies, though magic remains firmly relegated to theoretical exploration.
- The Hall of Archives - an imposing building filled with endless rows of tomes, scrolls, and blueprints, the Hall of Archives serves as the Empire's primary academic record-keeping facility. Everything from schematics for early warmachines to ancient texts smuggled from forgotten ruins resides here.
