Erask
The great western continent of Galath is longer and narrower than Boriya, extending into the northern permashade and the southern luminance. It is the original home of the Dragons, lesser dracoforms such as drakes and wyverns fill many ecological niches on the continent, and the Dragonborn and Secondborn Sympatic Lineages emerged and developed their civilisations there. In times of peace, the Boriyan Giants established three Eorldoms in the Weeping Mountains, with the permission of the Dragons.
The Weeping Mountains run almost the entire length of the continent, and are the source of the majority of its rivers and rain clouds. The far north lies in the polar regions, but the rest of the continent has a temperate-to-tropical climate.
Erask was quite literally torn apart, however, in the conflict between Dragons and Giants known as the War of Stone and Sky. The Eorldoms were destroyed, many giants - including several of the immortals - were killed, and almost a third of the continent sank into the waves, taking much of the draconic territory with it.
The nine sovereign states of modern Erask do not follow the boundaries either of the Eorldoms, or the territories of the ten dragons, but some cultures claim a degree of continuity. Unlike Boriya, Erask has only small pockets of Primeval Wilderness. Most of the major states preserve at least one such wilderness in which to shelter their own gods, but the dragonborn of the north have diligently rooted them out.
