    Founding of the Holy Order of Druids

    After The Savage Isles were created by the gods many of the inhabitants of E'ath saw this sudden shift as an act of hostility against the world trees. This was felt most by the elven druids of the realm who reacted by forming The Holy Order of Druids.

    Prophecy of the Archdruids Death
    Life, Death

    In the year 1997 an old, human official of the Holy Order of Druids was traveling in the area around Nisdain and out of curiosity asked a local seer what would be his greatest misfortune. She foresaw the death of the archdruid.

    The Great War for Survival

    After the unsealing of the great evil beneath Li'sin Ar the Holy Order of Druids along with many other nations and organizations tried their best to ensure their own survival and that of the world. Despite the loss of their leader and subsequent chaos they still managed to mount a respectable resistance against the evil.

    Selection of the Second Archdruid
    Political event

    After the death of the first archdruid the Holy Order of Druids was plunged into a chaotic state no leadership. This lasted for a full year where no one knew who to listen to and how to organize things.

    Discovery of the Primordial Ruins
    Discovery, Exploration

    With the great evil vanquished and sealed, exploration of the Cave of Secession began once again. The Holy Order of Druids initially welcomed this as an increased security guarantee of the Holy City of E'ath as the caves were known to go far into unexplored depths.

    Discovery of the Great Magic Circle
    Discovery, Exploration

    As news of the Primordial Ruins spread many adventurers ventured into the caves to find their fortune. Many found nothing and it would take 67 years before the next major discovery.   A group of wizards were randomly surveying the caves when they found a convergence of leyline under the world tree. Here they found a secret room in what was previously thought to be a dead end.

    Call for Help From the Lizardfolk
    Political event

    The first signs of trouble in the Inkwater Marsh arrived in the form of a lone lizardfolk, heavily wounded, and begging for an audience with the archdruid. After this, the druids quickly gathered to discuss the appropriate measures and how to deal with the situation. Eventually, it was decided that a military unit would be sent down to address the situation.

    Activation of the Great Magic Circle
    Metaphysical / Paranormal event

    With the discovery of the Great Magic Circle, many scholars wanted to find the purpose of it. This caused the Holy City of E'ath to be flooded with the many groups of wizards and scholars that took turns trying to activate it for decades until eventually a group eventually succeeded.

    Selection of the Third Archdruid
    Political event

    After the activation of the great magic circle, many were dissatisfied with the archdruid. After numerous separate factions joined in protest against the archdruid, eventually he willingly gave up power to a successor chosen from among the protesting factions.

    Realignment of The Holy Order of Druids
    Diplomatic action

    After the third archdruid was elected, the Holy Order of Druids quickly changed in shape and goal. Many new positions were created and leaders of different groups loyal to the new archdruid were given those positions and the goal now included saving the world trees from the meddling of gods.

    The Qlippoth War Begins
    Military: War

    One of the first acts of the third archdruid was to expell the qlippoth from E'ath. Due to still needing to remove opposition and work on the realignment of the Holy Order of Druids, this took almost a decade to begin but once it did a large force was quickly sent down.

    Battle for the Obsidian Veil
    Military: Battle

    After more than 4 centuries of war, the final battle was finally held around the portal from which the qlippoth had first arrived. This battle was won as the last of the qlippoths were killed and a fortress was constructed to keep future qlippoths from invading E'ath.

    Invasion of the Wasteland of Li'minar
    Military: War

    When Zemos had managed to revitalize Li'minar  in 718 AoW, many members of the Holy Order of Druids celebrated. Soon, however, reports came in that what was growing was not the world tree, or at least not Li'minar. This forced the order to step in.

    The Third Archdruid Dies and Selection of the Fourth Archdruid

    Despite every precaution against it, the third archdruid still eventually died from old age after more than 5 centuries at the post. As such his death had been expected for a while and a replacement had already been chosen.

    Zemos is Expelled From the Wasteland
    Life, Relocation

    Despite successes in the battles around Li'minar, the Holy Order of Druids was still worried about the smugglers they regularly caught continuing the efforts. Eventually, they tracked them down to the library Zemos had constructed and patrolled the area around him.   By the time the fourth archdruid took over, there were still regular reports of continued efforts to make a new world tree, so the new archdruid decided to do something about it and gave the order to expel Zemos and raze the library.

    Battle of Zemos

    Despite Zemos moving out of the wasteland, his followers continued to try to revive the world tree. Furthermore, Zemos kept advancing his research and developing new methods to increase its growth. As the order could not allow this, they decided to take the final step of removing him from the material plane. When he refused, it ended in a battle with a god without followers in which Zemos was killed.

    The Fifth Archdruid Takes Over
    Political event

    After the death of Zemos and the following catastrophe that enveloped the land, the fourth archdruid was no longer able to hold onto power. As such he quickly stepped down and allowed for a new archdruid. As a way of reconciliation, the new archdruid was chosen with input from the gods.
