After the activation of the great magic circle, many were dissatisfied with the archdruid. After numerous separate factions joined in protest against the archdruid, eventually he willingly gave up power to a successor chosen from among the protesting factions.

Although dissatisfaction with the archdruid initially did not have much weight behind it, these dissatisfied druids were met with support by those who believed a harder stance should be taken against the gods and their short-lived races. Soon after groups who disliked the way Li'minar was treated and quickly widely different groups began voicing their concerns.   In the end, the archdruid gave way for the new archdruid to be chosen after discussions lasting only 31 years. The new archdruid would be chosen from among the druids who had started all this and chosen by popular vote. In the end, a hot-headed half-elf was chosen, who quickly set out to make changes to the Holy Order of Druids.
