Zemos is Expelled From the Wasteland

Despite successes in the battles around Li'minar, the Holy Order of Druids was still worried about the smugglers they regularly caught continuing the efforts. Eventually, they tracked them down to the library Zemos had constructed and patrolled the area around him.   By the time the fourth archdruid took over, there were still regular reports of continued efforts to make a new world tree, so the new archdruid decided to do something about it and gave the order to expel Zemos and raze the library.

While the third archdruid had given up on fully expelling Zemos due to losses elsewhere in E'ath straining resources, his successor wanted a quick victory. His immediate goal was to expel Zemos and stop the creation of a new world tree.   While Zemos himself left the library before the battle even began by using his magic, many of his followers stayed and resisted as long as they could, despite the order's best efforts to negotiate.
