Inkwater Marsh
The Inkwater marsh is a huge marsh in the southern parts of E'ath. The water in this area is inky black and very viscous. Due to its poisonous nature only animals immune to the poison can survive this hostile land but those that do thrive due to the lack of competition. In the eastern part of this marsh, where the poison is less severe, lies Chessenta a large city of lizardfolk who has learned how to extract water from the inky marsh. Many undeads, which are created by mysterious forces on the Blackmist peaks, also roam these lands killing any living creatures they find. Despite this the lizardfolk has made it their holy mission to keep their patch of land free of these creatures and safe for those that reach it.
Once every few years the whole state of the swamp changes as a massive downpour happen. During this downpours the swamp water rises so quickly that the top layer becomes mostly toxic free and even the undead seem to avoid the swamp during these times.
Climate
Generally little rain with a monsoon happening every few years. The temperature is sub tropical with high humidity due to the stagnant water in the swamp.
Fauna & Flora
Many weird and different plants and animals call these swamps their home. While most of them are poisonous and actively trying to kills anything they find for nutrition an accomplished guide can usually traverse the swamp with little difficulty.
