In the year 1997 an old, human official of the Holy Order of Druids was traveling in the area around Nisdain and out of curiosity asked a local seer what would be his greatest misfortune. She foresaw the death of the archdruid.

In the year 1997 an old, human official of the Holy Order of Druids was traveling in the area around Nisdain and out of curiosity asked a local seer what would be his greatest misfortune. She foresaw the death of the archdruid, an elf of almost 2 thousand years of age. If that was true it would have to be soon by elvish standard as the human official was already of advanced age.   Despite being unsure he reported the omen by courier. This turned out disastrous as the courier told everyone he met of the news and they soon spread like a wildfire. The Holy Order of Druids knew this would weaken their political position and tried to dismiss the rumors as false while also trying to secretly assassinate the seer. Despite their best efforts the rumors persisted and in the year 2000 when Li'sin Ar rose with its great evil many believed that this devil would be the reason the archdruid died. The seer soon fled to a remote part of the isles that Li'sin Ar had created where she died, but as if by a curse the archdruid fell terribly ill that same day. He too died a few days after from the illness.
