Sabretail (ˌseɪbərteɪl)
Sabretail is a onyx shadescale dragon and is Zella's companion. Vexx captured him one day and tortured Sabretail because Vexx thought he had information. Vexx amputated his wings and tail fins and kept him alive chained down in a cave. Some Guardians found Sabertail and brought him back to Rayhaven where Zella created prosthetics. Eventually, she put a blade within the tailfin and named him "Sabretail".

Background (wip)
Sabretail spent his early years hiding and staying out of sight of other dragons and humans. He then was captured by Vexx Corvance because he suspected Sabretail had information he wanted. Sabretail spent who knows how long chained up in a cave. Vexx tortured him, even amputating his wings and tail fins. Eventually the Rayhaven Dragonguard found the cave with Sabretail chained up inside. They freed Sabretail and brought him back to Rayhaven where the mechanical engineer, Zella Solara, created prosthetic wings and tail fins. He spent time learning to fly with the prosthetics and training with Zella. At some point, Zella had the idea to incorporate blades within the edges of the tail fins, and thus gave him the name Sabretail.Physical Description
