Nestled in the deepest portions of The Rift is the Beóldt District of Jalóheim, home of the settlement's Chieftain's Lodge, and thus its center of "government," and the most important location within the village itself, at least to the villagers, and to nobody else, the Temple of Jalós. Tourists to the settlement should be prepared to not be allowed inside, and have their billfold pilfered for the trouble.
