Ahoy all!

I'm a native Wisconsinite and science-fictioneer, twenty-year veteran author and illustrator, though I have very little time to illustrate, these days. I do still do my own design, layout, formatting, and other publishing work of the like.

I live in Whitewater with my wife, Elizabeth, and our three girls, our border collie, and a host of chickens. Our family is all about heritage, roots, faith, classical learning, and our home is filled to spilling with antiques, great literature, and bad humour ... mostly mine. We homeschool our girls (I was likewise) and gradually move towards a more homestead lifestyle.

For anybody who cares, I hold an MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from Hamline University and a BA in Writing, taught writing, literature, the Hero's Journey (and a host of other whats-its) for the University obeenf Wisconsin, though I've also taught 3D design and printing, worked a pastor, and done everything from photography to carpentry and even a stint working as a 3D printer with My Little Pony. Seriously.

I grew up reading too much Jules Verne, watching too much Star Trek, and playing too much Legend of Zelda, when not engaged in other adventures.
