5th Qindirsday of Spring's Birth, Second Age 1852: As I'm writing this entry, Isenara is preparing to head out with the strike force to attack what we believe is the source of the force controlling the undead and sending them our way. I wish I could go with her, to help identify any magic that may be at work, but I've never been good in a fight, and Lady Aria herself and several other members of the team are versed in magic so they should be fine. And if Isenara was actually listening to me, and not just pretending that she did, some of what I told her should have rubbed off.
The undead attack two nights ago was terrifying, I really hope we will be able to cleanse these ruins of the walking dead and start rebuilding process. Was it a bad idea to go on such a dangerous expedition? I'll have to trust Isenara's judgement on this. In the meantime, I need to make sure the fire stays lit and warm so that my books don't soak all this moisture that's in the air. It would be a terrible start of a new library if all the books are soggy.
