Death and Fae
2nd Judicday of Fading Spring, Second Age 1853: The expedition returned from the catacombs with news of ghosts, portals, and ancient libraries, but other than news, they returned with a fascinating creature. Fae being trapped in a body of a mortal, imprisoned since shortly after winter's blight, tortured by followers of Leowyn, he resisted the shadow's influence long enough for them to give up and imprison him instead. He may possess invaluable knowledge, but I need to be careful. Simply because someone lived through events, doesn't mean they have accurate knowledge of them, or even if they possess knowledge sufficient to understand what they lived through. I would have spoken to him already, but as soon as he arrived, he left with a team to deal with some undead, and almost immediately after Lady Aria took him with the expedition to resolve the issue of the necromantic wellspring on our borders.
They returned today, with news of an ancient oak that was corrupted by death, and ready to pacify the ghosts that have so far made the library within the catacomb off limits. I hope that after tonight, Lady Aria will allow me to access these tomes of knowledge. Who knows what lost lore has been hidden within.
