Paragon Paths
One of the parts I miss about D&D 4e was the inclusion of Paragon Paths and Epic Destinies. Having higher-level character options allows for players to create unique heroes and to help focus their growth. These options are meant to be taken in lieu of Ability Score Improvements or other feats.
A character's paragon path represents a particular area of expertise within your basic role in a party, giving the character new capabilities. These paragon paths can be taken twice, giving an additional ability the second time.
