Elfin Village Area
The Elfin Village Area is where the true "town" part is. All elves come to shop or do business. This area of businesses have the same type as those in the mortal realm. It is also the area that has changed the most!
Elves pass through here on a daily basis. However, some work in this area and others come here for business. The main road, often called Santa Claus Lane, is an offshoot of HWY 124 thereby connecting back to the entrance and all the palaces.
There are two offices here. The first being Grand Elf Eleanor Ivy Eve's Office as she is the Head of North Pole Valley Christmas Beings. Her office is mostly quiet. Things are good most of the year. The Claus North Pole Office has more elves working.
Each side has one calendar elf, three asssistants, sub-assistants, and two elves who help Santa or Mrs. Claus with tasks if in office. They'll usually be assistants to help with the musuem, Christmas Delivery, or other departments that ask the office for help.
In this area, there are several businesses which are not replicated.
The first is Christmas Town Poinsettia Palace. It is the only place to buy plants (of Christmas or otherwise). The second is a law firm. These attorneys deal with elfin wills and trusts. Without crime or divorce, these and other types of law are not practiced here.
The next one is the grocery store. The only difference here is that everything is planted in the vast greenhouses and what is not has to be flown from thousands of miles away.
There is a bakery/dessert shop on the same street as well.
The last one is the hospital and clinic. It is both a veterinary and a elfin facility dealing with all life up north. For elfin life, it is important as the Christmas Cold/Bah Humbug Virus (a fast-spreading flu capable of halting all activity in the valley) is dangerous to residents if they catch it.
The North Pole, specifically Santa’s Workshop, was never meant as a tourist destination nor was it made for university students to come study everything about Ancient Power.
It was originally and still is the location of a Guardian where they create Love, Joy, and Hope for children throughout the annals. It will always be the location of Santa Claus's home.
However, there were other factors that played a role in Ancient Power’s future. These include the safety and security of university employees and students as well as protection from magical attacks.
It’s the truth when people say Ancient Power returned to Earth in the 21st century. And it is why things like King Arthur's Ancient Power University, the Kris Kringle Library of the Mythical and Mystical Realm, and Father-King of Christmas Empire Plaza were created afterwards in the Realm of Christmas.
With it, the Kris Kringle Library of the Mythical and Mystical Realm is here as a resource for those attending the university.
In this area, four hotels sit near to The Belief in All Things Christmas Spirit and Magic Museum of History and Artifacts. King Arthur's Ancient Power University is also close to them as well.
All four hotels allow students to stay in them and also allow them to study in their conference rooms unless they’re in use. These hotels were packed for Baxter and Angela’s wedding.
Christmas Valley Hotel is a 100-room, four-story hotel. It is named after the valley where it is. This hotel is over-the-top AKA generally-too- obsessive-in-everything-Christmas. All the Décor and just the atmosphere melts the outside world away! And yet, this hotel is just as popular as the others.
Maybe because this valley just charges people’s Christmas Spirit… Maybe because this hotel changes them…
Whichever it is, this hotel is considered infamous for awakening hearts and minds. This awakening may be responsible for the increase in people in the fall as students move into dorms on the campus of King Arthur's Ancient Power University.
Night of Profound Love Hotel is same size of Christmas Valley Hotel but based on the night Jesus as born. It has the only permanent life-sized full manger scene anywhere in the world.
While students don’t normally use this hotel, the student body is known to stay here during Finals Week. They often refer to it as “their relaxing space and de-stressing enjoyment”.
Night of Profound Love Hotel is also often used by students over the Winter and Summer Breaks. If students prefer and some do, they help Mrs. Claus and the elves in the kitchen or bakery.
Most aren’t technically allowed in the Workshop or Post Office but Victoria Hope Mistletoe and Samantha “Sam” Clara Snow allow them to exercise reindeer and test sleighs if they stay in town.
Lodge of Light and Life is the closest hotel to King Arthur's Ancient Power University. Known over the Pole as Light and Life I, II, and III, these three buildings offer student-only housing over the break unless a huge event of Ancient Power occurs.
Some students even use this as a dorm during the year as the dorms are not always empty.
Christmas Spirit Bed and Breakfast is also close. This is a small hotel of fourteen rooms that’s known for its’ calmness and serenity. Except after finals. It is filled with much joy and much love when the students party to celebrate a break and Christmas.
Twelve Days Park is the park within Elfin Village Area, Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City. It is the biggest park within Santa’s Realm. Two parks make up this one. Caroling Bells Park is one. Claus and Christmas Park is the other.
Caroling Jingle Park celebrates the true Spirit of Christmas! It is a park of gathering together in Love and in Hope.
Within this magical place, there is much for visitors to enjoy! You want the sounds and smells and tastes of Christmas? We’ve got that! What about sights? Absolutely!
Because people need reminders all year long, a few decorations are displayed permanently (more or less) along the trail. The trail becomes a Christmas Walking Trail in October, which runs through the end of January.
Vendors and carolers are often seen in an open plot of land during the opening time of Christmas Walking Trail.
Christmas Walking Trail is a holiday tradition in Santa’s Village from the first year of Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City’s birth building even more Christmas Spirit! The miles of trail fill this winter wonderland with festive decorations, holiday music, and delicious treats.
Trees on the trail are illuminated by lanterns and decorated with Christmas décor. The trail itself also has lanterns. The benches and the big gazebo each has greenery decorations and lanterns as they lie in an open field.
The colorful display of holiday-themed banners and signs that line the pathways help to add holiday cheer.
Visitors create unforgettable memories and Christmas Spirit through their experience on their visit here.
Christmas trees and holiday lights illuminate the park, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The festive decorations on benches, lamp posts, and other park elements.
Vendors here include elves creating general and personalized art for visitors or Kitchen Elves making hot chocolate and cookies and bread.
During the year, elves and university students participate in outdoor activities in the park. The main ones are yoga and snowball fights. Some people even run on the trail. These are sometimes held during the day during Christmas Walking Trail.
Then Magic returned and they created King Arthur's Ancient Power University so people can learn about the world in a safe place. With it, the Kris Kringle Library of the Mythical and Mystical Realm is here as a resource for those attending the university.
The Belief in All Things Christmas Spirit and Magic Museum of History and Artifacts and Hearts of Christmas-North Pole Historical Society are here. Next to the museum and these places is Gertrude's Cafe. Nearby lies Christmas Valley Hotel and Night of Profound Love Hotel. In this area, Lodge of Light and Life and Christmas Spirit Bed and Breakfast also exist.
