Christmas Elvin Housing Development
North Pole Elfin Housing Development AKA Christmas Elvin Housing Developmemt is the area situated in The Quarters/Outer Limits where all elves live. This area is close to Polar North Greenhouse and Christmas and Claus Animal Stables and Christmas and Claus Sleigh Coach Housing.
Each home and dormitory have trap doors into the North
Pole Tunnel System in case.
Homes look completely different as elves make them unique. And unlike many homes, Christmas Elves do not lock their doors. It is completely safe to do. Very few places have spells or locks or both.
Beneath the surface, homes and dormitories are more than housing for elves. They’re used as relaxation centers and as sanctuaries.
I’ll tell you a secret. Elfin family life is held near and dear to all hearts. Family, being important, is a core belief of elfin life as is working while jolly.
All elves go home after seeing Santa off. All fall asleep. Those who can’t help with party setup. Families wake up when the Americas are asleep and celebrate Christmas. Elves who are single and older go directly to the party to help there.
Elves who work directly with The Original Nine or Christmas Team One will head to the launch pad. Other than Baxter and Mrs. Claus, no one is really there. It is only when Baxter is Santa that all Rulers and eventually his children show up very year.
Elves who work in Department of Sleigh Operations with the Believer-Class Sleighs do not go. But they do know that soon the sleigh will need to be fixed for the year coming.
After families celebrate Christmas, all start heading to the party.
Elfin Dormitories, also called North Pole Elfin Residence Halls, are buildings that house workers in that department. These halls hold multiple bedrooms with bathrooms. Each building has a common area and a kitchen. Many elves who live in these buildings are single.
Apartments can be for one occupant or for two. Sometimes the really uncommon three.
Retirement dormitories exist for older elves who can’t work. Some teach part-time but don’t often do a whole lot. These elves, in emergencies, will help out wherever they can.
On the outside, these red buildings look all the same. Each one is not numbered but by department. Retirement homes are candy cane-striped with Christmas Retirement and a number on them.
Elfin Homes are used as family dwellings. Many of them are inhabited by multi-generational families. Elvin homes are not different than mortals. Designed differently, maybe. But still same elements as mortal homes.
Colors and house shapes are different. And each house has its' own address and specific name (usually familiel in nature but not always).
The Lords and Ladies of North Pole Society AKA Department Heads live in a three-story mansion. This is due to them being held in high esteem and in great honor.
Using gold and certain other things, these mansions look different from their counterparts.
The Department Heads have many privileges that other elves don't have. Their families enjoy some of these privileges.
Each mansion is numbered but also each house is decorated according to which department the head is in charge of.
