Cavern of Great Christmas Crystals
The Cavern of the Great Christmas Crystals is an ancient sacred space created by Ancient Power and Christmas Magic (via The Guardians/Collective Congress ) in 350AD. It is the power supply station for the Christmas Realm and Santa’s Christmas Eve Flight.
The power supplied is Christmas Magic. It floats up north as metaphysical energy until it reaches the two crystals.
The two crystals are made from (CRYSTAL NAME) from Incantus and/or Isis Mystic appearing on Earth. These two were saved for The Gift-Giver, Santa Claus.
The Crystalline pieces were not known until Nicholas reached The North Pole and built his workshop compound.
These pieces were given to him by Father Time and Mother Nature. It was Nicholas, with some help from the council, who turned each piece into one of the symbols of Christmas.
The symbols used were the dove and a Christmas Wreath.
The crystals hold great power. They need extra protection. A huge dome of magical energy may cover the village but it doesn’t mean much.
Therefore, The Yeti Christmas Clan were given the title as Great Christmas Crystal Protectors and normally protect the entrance granting passage to those on the list.
Every six hours, Yetis switch places. And Santa allows them time off in the least busy time of the year. Yetis are also off from the Winter Solstice until the day after Christmas.
Except when they help with lifting the sack.
It is during these times that Santa’s Reindeer and Santa’s Elves help out the Yetis. There are days where Mrs. Claus and Baxter even help! But this is rare around Christmas.
Those who have access are many. It includes governing bodies and other individuals. A list, known as “The List of Cavern Access”, names individuals and their associations. It is pretty long.
The people who do have access have several things in common. First, all are the highest members of magic and/or royalty and most of them govern Ancient Power or Christmas Magic. The second thing in common is that all have become really good friends.

The Cavern of Great Christmas Crystals is one location considered to be of vital importance [to Christmas Magic] and cannot legally exist on maps or in official documents due to its' purpose.
It is only after 2020 that it does exist on maps.
The Cavern is not publicly accessible post-2020. It didn’t matter before, but it did when magic returned.
Most elves aren’t allowed in. But they are allowed at the entrance. As Santa’s Helpers, many come to guard when not busy or to be with Yetis, so they interact with people.
If people stumble on it, the Yetis and the residents are truthful in their words.

Let’s say Father Time comes up.
“Halt by order of Santa Claus! Who are you?”
“I’m Father Time.”
“You may pass.”
Yetis step aside for him.
SCRIPT 2
An unknown stranger comes up. They may be from the university or a visitor who ventured too close.
“Halt by name of Santa Claus! Who are you?”
“My name is Joe.”
“Joe, you aren’t allowed to be this close to the Cavern of Great Christmas Crystals. We don’t allow visitors to be here. You’ll have to return. Do you want a ride?”
At this point, most people apologize. They may add something like, “I was taking a stroll through the forest.” or “I was exercising and wanted to try a new path.”.
Some would then wait for a sleigh. Others would ask to be pointed back towards the city. Elves and Yetis would often tell them directions.
