North Pole Post Office

Santa's North Pole Post Office is a huge facility run by Postmaster Hugo Cristobal Esther. Known as the Department of Christmas Letters, all letters addressed to Santa arrive and then get sorted for the toy workshop. Elves here are called Postal Elves. Other elves call these workers "Santa Letter Gatherers" as a joke, albeit not meant in a harmful way.   Postmaster Hugo Esther is the head of the second largest department with thousands of elves under him. It is one of the busiest locations in the realm.   Santa Letters AKA Christmas Lists ultimately keep them extremely hectic. This means, in the Christmas Realm, Santa's Elves don't have mail. They write letters and wrap gifts. Then each one is personally delivered.  

Description of North Pole Post Office

The Post Office is a grand building of red and white colors. Inside, thousands of elves sort through all letters to Santa. It is mainly a huge open area where elves open letters.   Pneumatic tubes magically take all toy requests to the workshop.   In this building, there is a section for office space. It has to be semi-far away from the noise of the “big room”.  

Christmas Magic and Letters

Christmas Magic allows all letters addressed to Santa to travel to Santa's Mail Room. Millions of letters fly from their starting point all the way (thousands of miles) into the post office via an overhead mail slot into Santa’s Mail Room.   Christnas Magic delivers letters in two ways. The first is smoke. Each time a letter is put into a fire, the smoke rises up and it travels safely to Santa's Realm. In the post office, a special area is set up for this exact purpose.   Letters delivered by the wind use the overhead mail slot. Letters coming via Christmas Magic appear into Santa’s Mail Room.   When letters come in, the postal workforce open them. These letters are then sent to the workshop so Toymakers know what to make. Record-keeping Elves check it against where kids stack on "Naughty and Nice List".
