Zodiac of the Twin Moons
When Time started flowing in the universe it was chaotic and dispersive. To control it and create order, the Eternal One created Muamuri, ruler of the Past and the Future.
Muamuri commanded its servants to give structure to this nonsense and marked Time through days, months and years.
Two tapus were put in charge of every month, one for the sky and one for the earth, one to control what cannot be seen and one to control what cannot be ignored, one made of stars and the other incarnated into a beast.
The Zodiac of the Twin Moons shows the connection between people and the zodiac Tapus, based on the phases of Mone, the moon of Whenua, and the time of the year. When Mone is full, the Beast is stronger while when it disappears it leaves space to the Star. 12 stars, 12 beasts, 24 guardians giving their protection to mortals that were born in their favour.
