Hawhe Community

Deep in the land of Iti, a huge Shire called Puke is the hiding place of the Hawhes. Their magic doesn’t allow unwanted visitors to find nor enter their villages and towns, which is why most people never saw a Hawhe in their life.

Architecture

Hawhes live in cosy chalets and brick cottages, blending wooden façades with sturdy stone and thatched roofs. Mostly farmers, they build windmills to mill grain and harness wind power.

Hawhes that live in hills built their houses on the side of the hill itself, with wooden beams, flower boxes under windows, and sloped roofs designed to shed snow or rain.

Agriculture and Waterways

Skilled at farming and managing water, they built a network of small canals to irrigate their farmland. Agriculture play a huge role in their culture, growing crops in fertile fields and sharing harvests in community markets.

Peaceful, Nature-Oriented

Hawhes are known for their peaceful demeanour, preferring diplomacy and farming to conflict, with a history of neutrality throughout all the known wars. They also have a strong tradition of outdoor activities like hiking through hills or gathering by serene lakes.

Small, Close-Knit Communitie

s Hawhes kingdom is made up of tightly knit, self-sufficient communities. They gather in central squares for markets and festivals, emphasising a simple, communal lifestyle.

Bicycles

Invented by Hawhes themselves, they love to get around by riding bicycles. Their roads are narrow and winding, built for foot and bike travel rather than horses or carts.

Flower and Cheese Festivals

Hawhes celebrate the changing of the seasons with festivals centred around flowers and agriculture. Cheese-making is a proud tradition in this kingdom and special celebrations revolve around it.

Craftsmanship and Artistry

Hawhes take pride in their craftsmanship. Their homes and villages are adorned with beautiful woodwork, intricate tapestries, and handmade pottery, showcasing their skill and love for simple but elegant designs.

The Land of Chocolate

Created with a special bean found in the sacred land of Havaiki, the Hawhes invented a special sweet treat known as Chocolate. With different colours, spices and forms, they export this product to the entire continent.
