Starwood Groves
The Starwood Groves are simultaneously among Cothique’s greatest military resources and most beautiful places. The tall stands of trees virtually thrum with magical power. Light filtered through the cloud-scraping canopy carries the White Wind Hysh, and the animals possess an uncanny intellect. A special kind of Spite called Luminescents are plentiful. The magical essence of these Spites is similar to starwood itself, but cannot be extracted without destroying them.
