Elisia City

Elisia is the sister city of Tor Dynal, though it lies to the south and, historically, has benefited from the protection of the other city. Invaders from the sea must get past Tor Dynal to strike at Elisia, and this has led to a degree of resentment between the citizens of the two cities. The Elves of Tor Dynal claim those of Elisia do little to pull their weight in wartime, whilst the folk of Elisia mutter that on occasions Dark Elves have struck past their defences, it must have been due to the complacency, or perhaps even the complicity, of their neighbours. The city climbs from the sea along cliffs from which several waterfalls pour down into serene reflecting pools. Crisscrossed stairways and sky bridges connect many of Elisia’s towering white stone spires, many of which are among the oldest structures in Cothique. The ruling princess, Litharys Starshard, commands Cothique’s capital fleet, which means she can often be found at the Tor Koruali Naval Base.
