    In the capital of the Free City of Xocrin, a fissure ripped open that killed many instantly. Out of the portal poured the Risen, large reptilian beasts wielding massive weapons that slaughtered all they could find. Since then, they've marched southward as far as they could, pushing humanity entirely off of East Veilinia.

    Retrieval of Meletnok
    Military: Battle

    The early Legion, with only a few members, attacked an Altonian port city called Meletnok. It was likely the easiest battle they could've taken, but after its victory, the battle cemented the Legion as legitimate and caused rapid growth in its membership.

    The Official Founding of The Legion
    Founding

    After about a year in function, the Maresian Federation saw the potential in the Legion and sponsored them with a headquarters on the Maresian island nearest to Altonia. The Legion then entered into two contracts, one with Maresia and another with Wacu, that secured them funding as long as they existed. After receiving national recognition, the Legion was declared the continent's official defense against the Risen.
