Lamplight Forest
Known for its dense vegetation and dark unsettling atmosphere the Lamplight forest is a major BArrier between New Mystria and Del De Sange. Dense mists descend flow in from the nearby lakes and fill what little space is left between the vegetation. One so brave to enter would be hard-pressed to navigate the forest without a trustworthy lamp, hence the name, and even then you are not guaranteed to not get lost as the forest has its ways of confusing travelers.

Geography
Moist, dense, Deciduous forest over semi-rough, hilly terrain making it difficult to navigate. Small streams and rivers flow from the lower areas after rainfall.
Ecosystem
A wide range of variability in temperature and precipitation. Rainfall is broadly distributed throughout the year, deciduous trees mix with species of evergreens. Common trees here include oak, beech, birch, and maple.
Localized Phenomena
Locals often report sightings of strange creatures and other phenomena in the Lamplight forest for centuries. Rumors say that long ago before the capital was built the forest stretched all the way to the coast and under the oldest roots in its darkest parts of the forest, the trees conceal ancient ruins that saturate the land in magic.

Various species of birds, Game animals, and some possible dangerous animals such as wolves, or if you believe the stories monsters!
History
It is a traditional route for those traveling between the Capitol and Del De Sange but has remained fairly untamed throughout the centuries due to superstition and local legend.
Tourism
Locals tend to avoid the areas deep within as do others. While attacks and disappearance are not common they are certainly not unheard of.
