Nines Republic
The Nines Republic is an empire built on industry, power and expansion. They seek to unite the world under one true flag and religion. Despite the nations name their power structure more closely resembles an empire. But the leaders insist that the Nines Republic is built for all of its inhabitants equally.
Structure
The Nines Republic is an industry focused state ruled by the Maned Cats. Because of their might and dislike of other races they have asserted themselves over the peaceful Moonkin. At the top of their hierarchy is the King who rules along side the Assembly of the Golden. The assembly acting as the nations legislative body.
Culture
Their culture is centered around the dichotomy between the Cats and Moonkin. Eclipsism is where this idea primarily stems from and because most of the church's support comes from the rulers of the Republic and thus at times their religion is skewed.
Their view of the Engines of Creation varies depending on the Moonkin or the Cats. The Cats believe that they could somehow be controlled or exploited for their benefit while the Moonkin see them either has possible saviors.
Public Agenda
Their major goal is to expand and grow as much as possible a sort of drive for endless growth and power. They believe that they can unite the world under their leadership just as they have already done with the Moonkin.
Because some within their Republic believe it can be done without force and rather through a spread of goods they also aim to be a major exporter in several different fields primarily technology and food.
History
At a point they went to war with the Onyx Order because of a breach of security.
Before adopting the Moonkin the Nines Republic was primarily Mained Cats. It wasn't until the Canine Wars that the Moonkin joined their nation.
