As comprehensive a history as one can find in Semita
The Elder Ones, after a century of wandering in a vast formless (to their perspective) universe came together to begin shaping the cosmos as they saw fit, giving it form and organization, and beginning to craft the first sentient life.
The Architect begins The Tower Project as a means to prepare for his own possible death, and plans for his return through several possible contingencies.
The Elder Ones begin to fade from creation the extent of their power reaching its edge. A great schism between the Elder Ones begins as some seek to become one with their creation, and others seek to persist, thus committing the first sin of pride.
With the departure of the Elder Ones from active engagement in the world, and the influences of the Abyss beginning to manifest themselves the first peoples of the world: elves, giants, dragons, and their client races, began a war to decide who would take the mantle of guiding the worlds direction. Humans would be create during this time and their breeding under the stewardship of the dragons began to create the halfbreed races we know today. Ended with the establishment of draconic governing of the path of the world as the leading arbitrators of "The Natural Order" left behind by The Elder Ones.
A war fought between The Inheritors( The Great Old Ones and Old Ones who believed they were destined to oversee the transition between rulership of The Elder Ones and the next great age of history) and The New Gods( gods birthed from the devotion of the races created by The Elder Ones). In the end, The Great Old Ones and Old Ones were decimated nearly 90% of them being killed over the course of the war. The first draconic council oversaw the establishment of peace between the two factions and the agreement that dragons should take the mantle of stewarding the world as they were the most neutral party.
Roland the 1st was liberated from The Architect's tower by Roland the Phoneix King a former servant of The Architect who wished to see his master not return from beyond the grasp of death.
A grand magistar of Atlantis in service to Arythimas the Arcane Titan of Evocation, along with lesser services to the other Titians. This grand magistar known as Soveliss has begun to cultivate a following of other magistras who wish to divest themselves from the threat of Arcane Titan overreach, seeing the the tyranny some dragons are beginning to cultivate into the world. Through a gathering of his followers Soveliss birthed the god Soveliss, believed to be the guardian of all Arcane magic, sensing a threat to the balance they'd cultivated the Titans manifested and tried to strike down the infant god, but Soveliss's followers protected him long enough for Soveliss, the wizard, to conduct a ritual sapping some of their power and stealing it for Soveliss, turning the god Soveliss into a artificial arcane titan, one of the unified magics, to balance out the original titans. Soon after this the Magi Uprising, lead by Soveliss the Magistar and Soveliss the God the Arcane Titans would be banished from Semita.
The tieflings of Dis, seeking to liberate their kin from the demonic influences of Hell seized control of Dis, the capital city of Hell, and created the Tiefling Kingdom of Dis. The ambition of the Kingdom was to usurp demons and than restructure Hell into a free almost anarchy like state where tieflings and demons would stand on the same footing in competition for influence over the material realm.
Soveliss the Magistar and Soveliss the God leading a grand host of the unified wizard of Semita banished the Arcane Titans from the prime material plane, in the aftermath of this event The Cloistered Magi were formed to stand vigil traveling across the multiverse keeping tabs on the wayward Titans knowing one day they would seek to return. On this day Soveliss the Magistar also came into possession of the Made Vacum Arcanum, and used it for a time, before it eventually divested itself from him and began its traveling of the multiverse.
Draconic cults worshipping a god-like being referred to as The Doom Serpent begin organizing and raiding ancient elder vaults containing tomes of magic. Dusk Elf and Dragonic relations come to an all-time low in light of Dusk Elf rulership over the ancient magics.
Ashe through his gathering of elder magic power creates The Astral Palace as a staging point for his seizure of power believing himself to be the infamous lord of the 13th throne.
Rogol the Second Aspect died trying to save the life of Spirit the Dragon of Life, seeking to halt Ashe's ascension to his new title of hegemon. This death would set Rogol's student Erin the Sage to go onto become the third aspect, and The Sage of Light
Ashe the Primordial Dragon of Death murdered Spirit the Primordial Dragon of Life in a brief duel overlooking The Dragon Nexus, which soon seized to function as Spirit's body was reduced to ashes by Ashe's breath weapon.
Ashe establishes The League of Sovereigns as an advisory council to facilitate his governing of the world. Emissaries from each nation of the world is called forth to serve on the council. Ashe still maintains executive control over them, but it is seen as a show of good faith.
Discovered around the year 12480 by then Prince, Arthur Pendragon, along with his traveling companion Merlin, and the veteran wizard Gaius, the future founder of Avalon would go on to discover the prophetic qualities of the water and see a future within which humanity was no longer subjugated alongside the rest of the world by draconic tyranny under Ashe. Leaving his friends on the safety of the island Arthur would travel to find Stannis Dracul the leader of The Fangs, the terrorist group seeking to undermine Ashe's hegemonic rule of the world.
The tyrannical first hegemony of Semita, the rulership of Ashe was brought to end by the first great alliance of the free peoples of Semita. The aftermath of this war also saw the destruction and loss of The Dragon Nexus, and the first purges designed to lead to the long term extermination of dragons. The Fangs, a venerated order of dragon hunters are the source of the name of the war, as their joint assassination of the high dragon priests is what started the domino effect of the war taking hold.
One of the first early attempts to unite the world under a new hegemonic force post Ashe, the Magisterium of Atlantis was taken over from within by a mage supremist branch of wizards that sought to take over the world uniting the world under the banner of arcane despotism. Lead by The Cabal of Leylines the movement would go on to conquer much of the world subjugating much of the world until it was undone by a sorcerer rebellion fighting against the ethnic cleansings designed to purge sorcerer bloodlines to centralize magical power into as few hands as possible. The remains of The Cabal would go on to form The Cult of the Damned.
In response to The Cabal of Leyline's ambition to purge the world of sorcerers, a rebellion of sorcerers rose up against the despotic Atlantean Empire. After the assassination of much of the Magisterium in late 12699 an armistice would be agreed to, and Atlantis would begin to demilitarize ending the Reign of Terror.
An arcane plague unleashed upon the Dusk Elves by the Giants during the last Golem War. Carried by the arcane instruments that ran their Golem armies the Spell Plague wiped out almost all elvish life on Semita leading to the near extinction (save a few enclaves) of Dusk Elves and the onset of the Elvish Divergence.
In the aftermath of The Spell Plague what Dusk Elves had not died in the last waves of the disease only survived by attuning themselves to new types of magic. Rather than being attuned to the primordial magic of the world instead some attuned themselves to Arcane Magic (High Elves), and Nature Magic (Wood Elves and Dark Elves). This started the pressures that would lead to the creation of independent elvish nations as The Dusk Elf Empire began to fall apart as the new Giant Hegemony worked to dismantle it's choke hold on geopolitical power.
The future Lord Protector of Libertas, Maeko Freewind, was born on Junium nineteenth.
Durin, future martyr of dwarven freedom would walk Semita for around 80 years before returning to the mountains of his birth to free his people from slavery.
Durin the Wanderer returned home to liberate his people, the dwarves and began the Ironfist Rebellion.
The Death of Durin the Wanderer, the martyr for dwarven freedom. Executed by King Gedius, who drowned him in a forge.
The slave rebellion that brought down the Giant Empire and led to Dwarven across the former holdings of the Giants. Dain I, youngest brother of Durin the Wanderer, would ascend the throne and claimed the Ironfist gauntlet leading his people into a new age of freedom once thought unthinkable.
Dain, the youngest brother of Durin and Magni called upon the powers of the newly fashioned dwarven pantheon in his rage from his brother Magni's death. Thus calling forth the power to fashion the first Book of Grudges and the calling of The First Grudge, against King Gedius for the murder of Durin and Magni.
The final battle between the Ironfist Rebels, and the Giant Empire. In the end, the Giants were routed one last time retreating from Semita through what remained of their known teleportation arrays, which were later destroyed by order of Dain Ironfist.
The youngest brother of Durin the Wanderer Dain Ironfist, the first of his name, champion of The Ironfist Rebellion, known as the Builder was coronated as the High King of Dwarvenkind.
A crew of explorers leaves Eisenberghof seeking the lost elvish kingdom of Lucen, lost during the Last Golem War when the Giants ended dusk elf civilization with the spell plague.
A great calamity that started the collapse of the "last great human empire". A great explosion that erupted from The Great Tower of Old Arcades that once linked the material realm to the astral planes of the gods. Thousands of mortals died alongside hundreds of gods as it was said that the sky burned.
After banishing his father. Zeus, to Carpathia for his hand in The Sundering, Rufus the Wanderer decided that his duties as The Aspect were better conducted elsewhere, and left Semita to it's own devices.
Birth of Slain Frostblood, the first NIght Queen of the Snow Elf kingdom of Mendacium.
The 2nd Corpse War fought between the forces of Mordred Pendragon and a collation known "The Living Crusade"
The Fall of Lyss was a period of great decline for The Kingdom of Lyss as it began to be beset upon by increasingly predatory monsters. Eventually, this period of decline fell prey to an abyssal invasion. The nation would not survive, it's people let loose upon the world as nomads awaiting a fabled Great Crusade, to reclaim their homeland.
The beginning of the "Golden Age of Adventure" Rise of the Halfling Empire in the far east. The 3rd Corpse War between a resurgent Cult of the Damned under the leadership of Nagatash the Lich King.
The halfling empire makes their discovery of a dormant umbra at the Estigora crater (named after her by cultists unknowingly influenced by her presence centuries ago). A cabal of scientists are tasked with the study of alien life forms, and how it can be applied. Disconnected from the military The Zodiac Initiative under Emperor Rudolph von Mussen was given a mandate of interdependence to act as a scientific research firm for galactic level civilization preparation after his trans-dimeinsonal empire building was complete. After the fall of the halfling empire, The Zodiac Initative due to its independence and clandestine operations was not investigated alongside the actions of the Polibuerau and other miltiary operations of the empire.
The Third Corpse War, fought between the resurgent Cult of the Damned and the Recodified Living Crusade (originally lead by ignii, later lead by Rudolph von Mussen of the Halfling Empire). The war was ended by a decisive operation where Rudolph von Mussen and his attendants the Frumenlegats assassianted Nagatash the Lich King and lead to the collapse of The Cult of the Damned's military structure. Later Hegemon Rudolph von Mussen's first edict was to outlaw the practice of the school of necromancy outside of academic institutions to ensure that The Cult of the Damned could no longer grow in the fringes of society. All surviving members of the Cult were banished to Carpathia.
A major leader in the Cragmaw bloodline was born to parents Chief Melpes Cragmaw and Chieftess Lyiana Cragmaw.
The future King of Ignii, and leader in the Ignii Diplomatic Renaissance, was born to King Callahan Pyremount and his wife Queen Estrada Pyremount. He would go on to live a long life of 98 years, ascending to the throne of king at a young age of 11, in the year 24872 after the the death of his mother and the consequential end to her regency after the death of his father in The Third Corpse War
Future Queen of Elestria, Radiant Gleam I was born on this day. The following evening she was kidnapped by agents of The Avalonian Alchemist Guild, to whom Prince Edward Gleam owed a debt.
Future mother of Del Nowhere, the 5th Aspect; middle child of parents Chief Melpes Cragmaw and Chieftess Lyiana Cragmaw. She would go on to prove her metal as one of the greatest Cragmaw fighters to ever live, her celebrity status becoming potent enough to attract the attention of the machinations of The Greater Infernium.
Years of halfling hegemony, ended by the defeat of the Halfling Empire in The Great Grudge War
The youngest child of parents Chief Melpes Cragmaw and Chieftess Lyiana Cragmaw. Raithwall, the youngest child, never felt at home in the Cragmaw tribal community, and early in life left the mountain villages to journey to Avalon and test his metal at becoming a knight to the Holy Grail. There he would later serve as a greater leader in the border war with Lyss after The Fall, keeping Avalon safe from the encroaching Abyssal taint just to their north.
The future President of Haven, Del Nowhere was born on this day. Son of Lystha Cragmaw and the Archdemon of Wrath. Soon given over to The Order of Wise Metal, Del Nowhere would be raised by elves to embody innovation and progress.
The unknown avatar of Soveliss was imprisoned in Carpathia by order of the government of Avalon for the crimes of apostasy for claiming to be the newly anointed avatar of Soveliss with no proof, and for committing necromantic arts outlawed by The International Compacts passed after the 3rd Corpse War.
Del Nowhere was imprisoned in Carpathia for the crime of mass murder within the Halfling Imperial Capital City of Arcades.
Charles Hawkson was imprisoned in Carpathia for hunting on the king's land in the Etruscan Monarchal Enclave without a permit.
Durin XIII son of Dain XII was imprisoned in Caprthia by order of Rudolph Von Mussen I Emperor of the Halfling Empire and Hegemon of Semita for agitation amongst Hill Dwarf slaves, to the end of starting a slave uprising.
A great war of abolition against The Halfling Empire's practice of international slavery; and against the Hegemony of Rudolph von Mussen. Conflicts ended with the ascension of Durin XII (formerly Dain XIII) as Hegemon, the first dwarf to hold the title.
The massacre of The Order of Wise Metal by Del Nowhere, coerced by The Horsemen of Death in exchange for his support in maintaining a vote of sustaining life. All but a few hundred members of the order were massacred.
The 287th Avatar of Soveliss High God of the Arcane was laid to rest after his sacrifice to ensure the Dark Lord Nagatash would not usher in a 4th Corpse War to try and take advantage of the strife caused by The Great Grudge War.
A clear danger to freedom in Semita, the Defender's the Realm( pre-recognition) captured and imprisoned Wayland the Smith. One of their last major actions before formal recognition by The League of Sovereigns.
The Kingdom of Babel was officially recognized by The League of Sovereigns as a legitimate state existing in the far east under its first sovereign Roland the 23rd.
The provisional government( pending local elections) of Haven was recognized as a legitimate state existing south of The Hellenic Confederacy under its first sovereign Del Nowhere. First recognition of a state for tieflings, also giving Del Nowhere significance of being the first tiefling to ever sit on the council of The League of Sovereigns.
Arteus Nabran the Horsemen of Death was executed by Del Nowhere by order of The Primordial Dragon of Law and Justice. He was executed for abusing his power as the Horsemen of Death by causing excessive strife and death in the world.
The Grand Coalition of Freedom makes landfall in the Halfling Empire, starting the last major period of The Great Grudge War
Members of the Allied Coalition Military Expeditionary Forces discover Camp Dolor along with the existence of its sister camps revealing The Halfling Empire's campaign of extermination against races it deemed inferior and worthy of "evacuation" from the prime material realm.
Frumenlegate to Emperor Rudolph von Mussen and Sealord of the Dark Elf people Vendachi Bloodsail was executed by Lord Protector Maeko Freewind for crimes against the free peoples of Semita.
Birth of Ceirean Bloodsail, the last living member of the Bloodsail Dark Elf Pirate clan. To be raised by Lord Protector Maeko Freewind acting as her guardian until she comes of age, the de facto lord of House Bloodsail
The Defender's of the Realm after discovering the existence of the foul being known as Nicholas Flamel only a few days earlier quickly hunt him down through his connections to The Halfling Empire's concentration camps. After being allowed into his inner sanctum Nicholas Flamel's arrogance was his undoing at the hands of The Defender's of the Realm's combined might.
Dain Lunarfoot VIII was executed for committing espionage on behalf of the Halfling Empire against the Allied Coalition in The Great Grudge War. Dain XIII by right of trial by combat became the sole inheritor of his rulership over the Moon Dwarves.
The roughly 3000 survivors of Camp Tenebraes experiment were migrated back to the prime material plane. They were gifted land to colonize in the former Isle of the Dead east of Ignii.
Del Nowhere completed The 99 Fold Path of The Aspect and passed the final aspect trial, taking the title of Aspect from it's former holder Rufus Merin. Now the fifth Aspect Del Nowhere's first duty as The Aspect would be overseeing the end of The Great Grudge War
The war criminals of The Halfling Empire and her allies were tried and sentenced at a gathering of legal scholars outside the ruins of the city of Arcadia. Notably Emperor Rudolph von Mussen was sentenced to execution, and as a combatant in the war on the losing side his soul was condemned into service in The Legion of the Damned, in The Great Infernium.
The Allied Coalition for Freedom dropped the Mana Bomb on Arcadia the Capital of the Halfling Empire to rip open a doorway to the Astral Palace by killing roughly 11 million people in the span of one single second. The deaths of many others resulted from the insueing backlash that echoed throughout the mana sphere.
Grognack the Tinkerer a good friend of Dain Ironfist, Mako Freewind, and Del Nowhere died driving their flying train into the Astral Palace, the first causality of the final hours of The Great Grudge War
With the dropping of the Mana Bomb The Bringer of Bargains was able to manipulate the life stream of Semita in such a way as to manifest a new well of power, The Well of Legacies. When asked what this well would do he simply stated that it would "Allow for the continuation of of my greatest ambition, a strong Semita for the future".
After passing through The Halls of Dominion Dain Ironfist XIII oversaw the abdication of Rudolph von Mussen from claim on the Throne of the World, and ascended the Throne of the World, becoming the new hegemon of Semita, the first of his race to do so. Dain Ironfist XIII's ascending edict was to outlaw slavery across all of Semita and it's tributary planes
Chartered by King Francis Pyremount of Ignii, King Arthur Pendragon of Avalon, King Rex Etruscus, and King Regis Remtraught of Westfall (posthumously), The Sovereigns Academy would go on to be the leading institution of higher learning for would be adventures.
In the aftermath of the end of The Great Grudge War, with the ascension of Dain Ironfist XIII as hegemon of the world so began stewardship of dwarves over Semita. With the turbulent nature of this first age of dwarven hegemony many historians call it The Iron Age of Pain, in honor of House Ironfist, the dwarven royal house.
On the 3728th anniversary of the coronation of Dain I, the first dwarven king, Dain XIII held an abdication ceremony absolving himself of claim to the high throne of dwarven kind due to his wish to not have a conflict of interests as the new hegemon of the world. After his abdication, his son Durin XIII became Dain XIV, and he returned to legally being Durin XII, though his friends would still call him Dain in private, out of habit if nothing else.
The first grand tournament designed to act as a talent scouting event on behalf of AEGIS and The Defender's of the Realm. This event was also used by Del Nowhere as a means to scout talent for his pet project The χ-Initiative, his order trying to understand and harness the true power of ki and it's origins.
Third born child of Del Nowhere and Raven Jackson-Nowhere, was born without incident in Liberty Hall in Haven.
With the appearance of The Calamity Dragons the world was sent into an environmental disaster the likes of which no one has ever observed before. The Calamity Dragons raged against the worlds cities and landmasses slowly trying to return the planet to an inert state of primordial life so that nature could reclaim and begin anew, out of vengeance for the ecological disasters caused by The Cutting Down of the World Tree by the Dwarves, the near Extinction of Dragons committed by The Fangs, and the Industrial Resolution spearheaded by The Halfling Empire in the east and the nation of Westfall. Druids of the world began to retreat into their circles in a state of seclusion many of them entering a state known as "The Green Dream" where they became one with the world tree awaiting her renewal of the world.
Headmaster of Sovereigns Academy and former King of Ignii, Francis Pyremount died while visiting his home country to spend time with his family during the winter holidays. He tied surrounded by his family and friends from a long full life. His funeral was held later after new year celebrations at the Isle of Sovereigns, he laid in state in The Hall of Sovereigns guarded by his sons for seven days until he was put to rest in the family crypts bellow First Hearth.
The departure of the Sovereign Ship Odyssey on it's maiden voyage of exploration into The Great Expanse.
