Dain, the youngest brother of Durin and Magni called upon the powers of the newly fashioned dwarven pantheon in his rage from his brother Magni's death. Thus calling forth the power to fashion the first Book of Grudges and the calling of The First Grudge, against King Gedius for the murder of Durin and Magni.
Dain I called The First Grudge against King Gedius for the murder of Durin and Magni. In the aftermath of this Dain's followers and new clerics to the dwarven gods began to keep their own Grudge Books a holy sacrament by which dwarves keep a catalog of the slights they have been dealt in life. The Grudgebook of Dwarvenkind, however, shall forever be the book crafted by Dain I from his rage in the aftermath of the deaths of Durin and Magni. There is one peculiarity however, the source of the power to create the book is unknown. No living dwarven god claims responsibility for the book, nor knows if it is a god long gone. The origins of The Grudgebook of Dwarvenkind are shrouded in mystery even to this day.
