Revolution
The slave rebellion that brought down the Giant Empire and led to Dwarven across the former holdings of the Giants. Dain I, youngest brother of Durin the Wanderer, would ascend the throne and claimed the Ironfist gauntlet leading his people into a new age of freedom once thought unthinkable.
After the brutal execution of Durin the Wanderer by King Gedius on September 4th at dawn, within the hour uprisings had begun in the name of Durin now a martyr for dwarven freedom. Within the next thirty years, the hold Giant's once held on the world would be destroyed by the Dwarves who would beat them back to severely that Giants would flee Semita for what remained of their extraterrestrial colonies that had fallen into disarray while the demands of the war sapped resources once sent abroad to bolster colonial ambitions. The Giant's loss in The Ironfist Rebellion would also lead to the loss of divinity or outright evanescence of many of their gods, as the Giant people fell into despair believing all was lost as they fleed into exile beaten back by those they had enslaved since the beginning of civilization. To them surely the end of the world must have come. Many Giant's refer to The Ironfist Rebellion as Ragnorak as while the world itself did not end and few of the gods died. the empire that bolstered their gods and people to prominence died with the abolition of dwarven slavery. With the fall of the Giant Empire and the presumed murder of King Gedius (he was said to have fallen in single combat to Dain I, this was later discredited by his reemergence and later final defeat to Dain XIII), the 6th Age of Strife would begin as no hegemeon now sat upon the Throne of the World.
