House of Feather
House of Feather once existed as merely an aristocratic clan name for the initial years of the empire. By the early days of the transfer between 2nd-to-3rd empress, the House was growing in power with influence on currency, and invention, inviting praise and institution that couldn't be ignored as a viable and strong power. By the year of 68csp, House was declared an official power, and the main house of treasury and monetary finances. Even before then, they were minting coins under a process that went on to define the coin under the empire as Serio coin, named with close parity to the Orcasio currency of Cirik for easy communication in sea trade. Their power, publicity, and access across the empire, allowed their arts and permissions to flourish and invest in slowly building up a more colorful and exotic image for the empire.
Their crest is the symbol of crossing gold feathers, enshrouded by a golden ring. Though an emblem sometimes worn instead by Gilder specifically, if an image of a hand/claw with the claw-tips replaced with feathers. Colors are often gold, blue, and silver, but red is often incorporated into their more casual or market wear. They have a very limited and strict armed set of forces simply cast as guards for the banking system, who are actually authorized to wear the exact armor as that of Tulip's Thorns.
Structure
Other than roles of high council authority, basic staff, and slaves, they have a few key roles and types of students or lessons in places. These are...
Build-Master: These are reketta tasked to upkeep roads, and special construction projects. They're the go-to imperial experts for artistical and elevated landscaping, or architecture, only later rivaled with some use of the Blades house for similar effect.
Gilder: Taken from an old term for the shine of gold, a Gilder is a person specializing in the art of pleasant visual appeal, fashion, arts, or even the art of consumerism itself, akin to an older incarnation of a marketing agent.
Vaulter: Responsible for both cleanliness, and polish of the house's pride like representatives, but also transactions and treasuries that got put to use in even working the imperial banking measures that developed across the third empress generation.
Culture
The House of Feather has always been quite posh, and vain, even in clan days as "fethor". They are a proud bunch with the elite going an extra mile even for aristocracy, while some of the more common underlings or migrated reketta seem to just live more care-free or passionate lives. Plenty of Gilders are just poets, musicians, or explore as mild adventurers seeking the next inspiration, and detest some of the politics of their surroundings, or the logic of their fellow bankers. They are however, infamous for such vanity, and sometimes an image of decadence, with an image problem that popularized a term of "Hen Housing" (essentially females or runaway drafters that were sheltered, fondled, and often discarded at their own inconvenience whenever the holding members either got bored, or to avoid being caught)
