Royal House of Salt

Among royal houses, that of Salt is famed as either being greedy, or the uprising underdog, depending on who beholds its legacy. It was the kingdom facing a decent portion of the lower most western Kayotian side during older primal periods, but civil war tore much of it with the surrender surrender more. They were virtually subdued to being a kingdom of the bay, but after some quick decisions, made the most of it, and expanded ports and made themselves more of the ruling class of sea restrictions, and the image of the Rekettan navy fleet. Not long into it, they even tested for some small compartments of Gryphon fliers, and are the military segment sailing and trade humans fear the most to run into for their possession of the sea.   However, despite finding a niche for success, they seem relatively more competitive in terms of jurisdiction and execution of other forces. They seem to show a distinct disdain for the power of House Blade, and occasionally flash a more snobbish demeanor down onto similar houses of power that didn't original in royalty.   Their symbol has changed mildly over the years. Old accounts once held the kingdom was nothing but a color scheme of brown in the ancient times of civil war, but in integrating one of their shoreline tribes as a small army, they persuaded them by adopting their flag head depiction of sea spirit Jao'kozi. Later in the very early years of the empire, they switched their flag more to reflect their impact of the sea, with contrasting two-tones of blue, and a row of orbs alleged to be cannonballs. This coincided with a changing model of "Bring cannons as tyrants of the sea!"

Culture

Their culture has shifted around a little over some small periods. Their most noble seem to often be regarded as quite tame, and curious scholars of literature and study. However a lot of their crew and captains are very quick, decisive, and aggressive. The mix has passed on this idea of bipolar culture, uncertain rudeness and kindness of exchanges, collaborating nicely with a history just as steeped in sea as it is with desiring the grasslands, or feuds with Blade and Rum. Those that dwell more actively on the sea are strict and keen on how the ship is often treated, with various different ideas, and moral codes of conduct often imposed between variations of command from Wheel Speaker ship-owners, and navy captains.
