Royal House of Dragon
The House of Dragon is an odd construct out of the four royal houses of the empire. Its set near the edge of the Grasslands, the furthest east house for some time before the bogs were more centralized. Queen Kesi'iloquet wished to keep to the desert comforts for herself, but needed a special militarized and commanding authority in the grasslands, where most Reketta were just villages at the most - and some looking quite less than that, after the war-torn destruction. Still, there was an evicted human fort that started being built upon. A reketta known as Usimre went from being a former royal guard for the queen, to her captain to end several remaining human neighbors. As he finished in being a key component to the Full Moon War, he was crowned to rule the constructing castle that would make the front face of the empire.
Originally, the royal line was to be known as House of Shield - a name some stood uncomfortable with. A dragon in the near completion of the castle, was causing problems with some small startup crops before much importing was successful from the place that would be House of Fang. Being considered a bad problem, but with a proven militant king in charge, he forged a hunting party that went on to slay the dragon. A majestic gold in its scales, the king integrated parts of it through his throne room, and began to re-establish the name as one just as defensible, but more powerful, as that of a Dragon. House of Dragon was born, and in further years this sprouted up to correlate a lot with various Gilda worship, and guidelines for slayer expeditions.
House of Hunt was also formed in early tradition, and worked close with The House of Dragon. In early time, the two coordinated forces more closely together, with Skulkers sometimes reporting civil issues that a more militant group might pursue from the more western side of the empire's reach. During the later generations of the Blade's power, House of Dragon's main influence waned a bit. More as a waited call, recon team, and small agriculture, it became more of a still and stagnant group whos civilians became more interested in modest arts, and mythos. Some rivalry occasionally flares up to the House of Blade, who became more central in forward military advancements.
