Ðýúš-Ýïr
Ðýúš-Ýïr, or Tiosar, was one of the thirty-two tribes that fought in the Crisis of 24982 AYM and Khólteðian Wars, and one of eight that made up the Arðor-Tal. Ideologically, it was made of members of the Khëlër-Ðórr who wished to expand the Talian territories as marked out by the Ceasefire of Zïlëŋý and who possessed a deep vendetta against the Arðor-Úŋï for their previous actions. Upon expulsion from the Ïlýrhonid Tribe following the 24982 AYM Ultimatum, they occupied a moderately-large territory in the southeastern Tayzem Desert, but this land was greatly reduced in the Ašðïan War between the neighboring tribes of Hfašð-Ýïr and Ašëð-Ýïr. Following this, the Ðýúšïans were swiftly conquered in the successive Ažým-Brýŋ Campaigns by the tribes of Ažým-Ýïr and Ïlðúš-Ýïr. This places the Ðýúšïans as the third tribe to be conquered, behind Úrfëš-Ýïr and Ërëšð-Ýïr.
History
Origins and Rationale during the Crisis of 24982 AYM
The tribe of Ðýúš-Ýïr, as a tribe of the Arðor-Tal, did not exist prior to the aftermath of the Battle at the Palace in 22 Ulta-Eimarae; however, the sentiments that would build into the tribe were sown as early as 25100 AYM. At that time, a Khólteðtian known as Öhr-Fëkahr broke tribal law by committing Ýyorhïsïb with other families, creating the first of what was known as the Fýr-Hŋýtor. In 25080 AYM, Öhr-Fëkahr's crimes were discovered by the Family, and as a result, the Hŋýtians were rounded up and banished to two specially-designated areas of the familial land, called the Krëšŋ-Ðórr and Khëlër-Ðórr. These areas, which together made up merely 5% of the total Familial land, were highly inhospitable, with the only resources there being rough sand and barely-edible bedrock. However, across nearly 100 years, the population quickly learned to survive and thrive. This was amplified by the relative strife experienced by the rest of the Tribe, who had to contend with cultural upheaval by the Žötó-Žimiara and a nearly 25-year-long stretch of severe natural disasters. As a result, by 25020 AYM, the Hŋýtians, concealed and isolated, lived in relative peace and thus multiplied greatly, while the rest of the Family experienced stunted growth at the hands of these calamities. At the time of the Crisis, the Hŋýtians, now renamed the Arðor-Tal, made up a full quarter of the total familial population.
However, during the Crisis, the rest of the Family created an army of their own, called the Arðor-Úŋï, which inflicted numerous atrocities on the Talians, most famously the Massacre of the Krëšŋ-Ðórr in 25-26 Anta-Eimarae, in which over 2,500 Talians were killed during the Úŋïan conquest of the Krëšŋ-Ðórr. The survivors thereof, as well as the Talian army, would flee to the Khëlër-Ðórr, and this region and the entirety of the Talian population was only saved through diversionary actions of the Talian commander Žúž-Akëð, as well as select individuals sent by Akëð to combat the Úŋïans that were targeting the Khëlër-Ðórr. Although the region thereafter saw little fighting, the trauma inflicted upon the Talian civilians there became a source of identity for many, and from there arose many who sought retribution upon the Úŋïans as a result. The most extreme of these constituted Ðýúš-Ýïr, and after the Ceasefire, this group would be the sole Talian splinter group to believe in and campaign for a military offense against the Úŋïans. This was in large part due to the actions of the two most dominant Talian groups at the time, Šïbha-Ýïr and Šïvýð-Ýïr, who successfully sought for greater Talian representation in the eyes of the Ïlýrhonid Tribe at large. Thanks to their testimonies, the second document of the Ceasefire as created by Zümiža, the Hyvamto-Rhïlýrhonid and the intercessor between the Talians and Úŋïans, allotted a full half of the familial land and representation equal to half of a typical family to each of the two sides. To most Talians, who still keenly remembered the time when the Talians merely occupied the Krëšŋ-Ðórr and the Khëlër-Ðórr, this was a satisfactory outcome, but the Ðýúšïans never sought greater land or representation, but at their core, vengeance against the Úŋïans.
The month-long timeframe between the Ceasefire and the 24982 AYM Ultimatum saw rampant skirmishes and street fighting by the Talians, Úŋïans, and Kýïans. The Ðýúšïans themselves were heavy participants in this fighting, exiting the Khëlër-Ðórr itself to fight at various points along the border. This culminated in the Battle of Köš-Ëmvrad, a multi-day-long clash between all three sides that Ðýúš-Ýïr played a large part in. By the end of the Crisis, the population of the Ðýúšïans fell from an estimated 900 to around 250, rendering them perilously few in number for the upcoming Khólteðian Wars.
