Fýr-Hŋýtor
The Fýr-Hŋýtor, or Vyryntor, was a major subgroup of the Khólteð Family that was formed when Öhr-Fëkahr committed Ýyorhïsïb with individuals of other families. The Fýr-Hŋýtor would be at the center of the Crisis of 24982 AYM and the Kaultedtian Wars, which together make up the bloodiest conflicts in the history of the Ïlýrhonid Tribe.
Terminology
The Fýr-Hŋýtor is, for all practical purposes, synonymous with the term Arðor-Tal. However, they do differ somewhat.
The Fýr-Hŋýtor describes the subgroup of the Khólteð Family that descended from Öhr-Fëkahr starting in 25100 AYM, and the name was the original term used to describe them. It is a derogatory term, roughly translated to the Corrupted, which the other members of the Family separate from the Fýr-Hŋýtor used primarily to deride and ridicule them.
The Arðor-Tal was the term conceived by the Fýr-Hŋýtor right before the advent of the Crisis of 24982 AYM. Its name is a combination of Arðor, meaning a large group, especially one united by a particular belief or goal, and Tal, meaning Righteous. As such, it is chiefly a societal term; although most if not all members of the Fýr-Hŋýtor were members of the Arðor-Tal, the latter also included those outside the subfamily that did alignt themselves with the Talian cause.
