William Rosenrune

William at one point was designated by his mother Ada Rosenrune as the heir to the Wolfhelm Clan. If he successfully took the Bloodright of Leto, he would have become the leader of the most powerful nation of Werewolves in the world. Knowing there was a chance, however small, that he would be overcome with the Lunatic Cry, and also knowing that this very thing happened to all four of his older siblings, he refused the bloodright, and was excommunicated from the clan as a result. Other Werewolves see him as weak and useless, giving him little respect.

Shortly after his excommunication, William was recruited to the Foundation and moved to the United States in 2015. He has been a field agent for nearly nine years and most of his work includes capturing feral Werewolves, safely containing them before they are neutralized by other means. He tends to avoid hunting other types of bloodlines, instead focusing on others of his kind. He was instrumental in stopping an incursion from [REDACTED] in 2019, which wasn't Werewolf related.

In-between assignments as a field agent and when not dealing with his family, William lives in Westerly, RI. He operates a Fencing school there. He is also somehow at every single Werewolf Asylum in the Northeast, volunteering to help there since no other Werewolf will.

Two years ago, his younger brother Zack was sent to the States from Germany to attend the Manalith Academy a city over in Mystic, CT. William thinks this has to be some sort of cruel test from their Mother to convince Zack to undergo the bloodright by isolating him. A similar thing happened to their sister Iris, which made her drink Leto's Blood, to the same results at all of their older siblings. William has done what he can to convince Zack to refuse to do the ritual, but his efforts have been a complete failure.
