Darius Drake

Darius William "Bill" Drake is one of the most accomplished agents in DDF history. With a career spanning three decades he is considered a legend among the other agents. Despite being a human with no bloodline abilities, Bill's record includes the confirmed neutralization of an Elder Dragon, an Entrophic entity, a Vampire Lord, and an entire pocket dimension. He is a textbook example of what a normal human can achieve through skill and sheer force of will.

Bill joined the DDDF at 17. He quickly proved himself after a simple transport mission gone wrong. In that mission, he and his brother Jack were forced to fight a Divine Shard of Zeus and the two were victorious. Since then, Bill shot through the ranks, achieve skill and prestige that even the immortals working for the Foundation acknowledge. Bill also has one of the highest mission completions of any past or present agent.

In combat, Bill doesn't fight with magic. He doesn't have the mana pool for it anyways. Instead he relies on good battle sense and marskmanship that would make even Artemis nod in respect. He has numerous firearms from almost every period of human history, especially revolvers. His is most often seen with an Autorevolver loaded with specialized ammunition for whatever the threat is in front of him. Younger agents often try bringing revolvers on field missions, wanting model themselves after a legend, but Bill makes them switch to different firearms before he works with them.

Bill is married to Charlotte Drake, a retired A rank agent. The two went on numerous missions together for nearly twenty years. He is the father of Remi and Nina. Bill is often too busy with his job to spend time with them, though he mentions them often. He keeps several photos of his family with him at all times. Bill also has a special relationship with Lycoris Akti, who mentored him in his early days at the DDDF.
