Hodrana
Hodrana lies to the east of Rahgmara's Belt on the shores of the Riven Ocean. Its borders stretch from the eastern border of the nation Smaustan in the north to the northern border of Tuca Wilds in the south. The kingdom enjoys a temperate climate for most of the region and four distinct seasons: fall, winter, spring, and summer. In the northern region, home to the duchy Wingate, the temperature trends cooler. In the area bordering Tuca Wilds, the climate is more subtropical and trends warmer than the average temperatures of the central region.
Structure
The kingdom is ruled by King Ayden, second son to King Lysander the Redeemer. Since Ayden’s rise to the throne, his rule has been nothing short of turbulent. The royal family had been well-respected for over a century, though, recent history has made them unfavorable among most of the continent.
History
Six centuries ago, Leonid Hodrana founded the Kingdom of Hodrana. He was a warlord from Rimonevan who united the warring bands of the region against the looming threat of Smaustanian raids from the north. After successfully uniting the bands to defeat their common enemy, they drafted the Rimonevan Accords and formed the Hodranan Dominion. The Hodranan Dominion spanned from the Lucent River to Lowever.
Roughly two centuries passed before Ascaria joined the dominion. Ascaria had been an established province for several centuries before the Rimonevan Accords and had not been affected by the raids. After a poorly executed descent on the Sentis capital, A'mnor, House Incendere faced retaliation that killed nearly all Ascaria residents. House Incendere sought reinforcements from the Hodranan Dominion and was able to remove the brief Sentis occupation of Ascaria. The Hodranan Dominion met with the Sentis and drafted the Ascaria Accords that forbade the presence of House Incendere in Sentis territory, and the Hodranan Dominion annexed Ascaria.
Territories
The kingdom is ruled by King Ayden Ellsworth, second son to King Lysander the Redeemer. Since Ayden's rise to the throne, his rule has been nothing short of turbulent. The Ellsworths had been well-respected for over a century, though recent history has made them unfavorable amongst most of the continent. The capital city, Rimonevan, sits in Lowever near the coast of the Riven Ocean and serves as a cultural and economic hub.
House Ellsworth is the current royal family in power over Hodrana. Noble families preside over different duchies within the kingdom. Although the duchies lead under one banner, their past cultural identities remain.
Duchy of Ascaria: House Incendere ruled Ascaria before Hodrana's inception. They are one of the most revered families on the continent and are known for their strong Pyromancers. Nathaniel Incendere is the current earl of Ascaria.

Agriculture & Industry
Natural resources are abundant in Hodrana due to its temperate climate. Its primary resources are grain and produce from Creford and Millpond; lumber from Britvale; rare and specialized herbs from Bixxieton; furs and fish from Gleron, Druyle, and Wingate; and stone and metal from Rahgmara's Belt. Hodrana trades its surplus with its neighboring nations for textiles and luxury goods. Relations with Blacklam, however, have been strained. The strain between both kingdoms has led to occasional skirmishes along the border.
