Bixxieton

Nestled next to the spine of Vanori, Bixxieton is a secluded community of commoners who prefer to be out of the bustle of the capital city of Hodrana, Rimonevan. On Bixxieton's eastern border, a crystal-clear stream winds into the settlement with fresh water and a tranquil backdrop to daily life.   The village has a serene atmosphere, with the sounds of nature filling the air. While the gentle rustling of leaves in the wind creates a peaceful melody, birds chirp overhead. The villagers are welcoming but reserved, always keeping a wary eye on outsiders.   The village is small, housing only about 1,000 villagers, with a central gathering area that serves as a marketplace and meeting square. Radiating outward are winding cobblestone paths that lead to modest homes constructed from timber and stone. Villagers adorn their houses with carved wooden doors, pine wreaths from the surrounding forests, and fresh flowers from their gardens.   The buildings are a mix of quaint cottages and two to three-story homes. Stone chimneys puff out wisps of smoke from hearth fires, giving the village its warm and cozy feel. At the center of the hamlet is a couple hundred-year-old oak tree called the Lone Oak that serves as a place for prayer and communal gatherings. Surrounding it are flowers and carvings of the Ohmites that villagers leave to pay homage to.   The village thrives on agriculture, wood crafting, and foraging. The proximity to Rahgmara’s Belt provides ample opportunities for mining rare minerals, but the villagers are cautious, treating the mountains with reverence. Traders from nearby towns frequently visit to barter with the village for their renowned Silverwood sap, herbal remedies, and cured meats.   The villagers celebrate the changing seasons with reverence to the Ohmites Gaia, Terran, Zephyr, and Skai by having grand festivals. In the spring, they hold the Festival of Vaenbloom, where they plant flowers and tell stories of their ancestors. Villagers play traditional instruments made from the local trees, and their music fills the air. Those connected with the land and more aligned with Terbis call upon sylvans of the forest for protection and guidance.

Landmarks:

  • Cottlemeny Meadow- Cottlemeny is a meadow to the east of the village with the most serene and picturesque background that brings visitors from all over.
  • The Silverwood Grove- Siverwood Grove is a small forest to the north of the village, home to rare Silver-Running Pine trees that are sacred to the villagers. These trees have ohmi potent sap collected to create various special ohmi elixirs.
